Speakers announced for Heritage Show + Tell 13 March

The next Heritage Show + Tell will be hosted by Leeds Museums and Galleries on Thursday 13 March 2014. Join us for a tour of the Leeds Art Gallery at 4pm, followed by Heritage Show + Tell from 5pm to 7pm around the corner at Leeds City Museum.

We have seven three minute presentations, followed by the chance to network over a glass of wine. Speakers include:

Sally Rodgers (Heeley Farm) ‘Exploring Tinsley Manor’

Sue Ottley-Hughes (Stank Hall Barn) ‘Stank Halls and Barn – Mislaid Heritage of Leeds’

Trizia Wells (Helping Hands, Eureka!) ‘Access All Areas: Helping Hands at Eureka!’

Helen Moore (York Minster) ‘Gothic v Street: Urban Art Live at York Minster’

Nick Cass (Centre for Critical Studies in Museums, Galleries and Heritage, University of Leeds) ‘Intersecting Practices (or ‘What Happens When You See a Ghost at the Bronte Parsonage?’)’

Abigail Harrison Moore (Centre for Critical Studies in Museums, Galleries and Heritage, University of Leeds) ‘What is the EPQ?: Engaging 16-18 year olds in museum, gallery and archive collections’

Jude Woods (Leeds Art Gallery) ‘Queer Culture – queers queering the queer’
